First Week Guide
What to focus on — and what to skip — in your first days: Workshop priorities, first Diamonds, the Campaign, companions and the offline-earnings clock.
Your hero does the fighting on its own — the first week is about pointing resources the right way. These priorities carry new players the furthest: your first Awakening usually lands in week two or three, and everything below builds toward it.
Do
- Max Fire Rate in the Workshop first — more shots per second multiply every other upgrade you buy
- Then spread Coins across all damage upgrades, followed by HP and Shield — surviving is what lets runs go deep
- Spend your first Diamonds on Powers: unlock 3-4 of them, offensive first
- Play the Campaign early and invest your first War Spoils in one banner of your choice
- Equip a companion as soon as you own one and spread early training across all of them
- On gear, prefer pieces with an artifact socket, and prioritize HP and damage reduction stats
- Claim the daily rewards and bonus ads every day — that is a few hundred free Diamonds daily
- Spend Leaves freely during every run — they vanish on death anyway
Don't
- Don't buy Runes yet — park that plan until your first Awakening; early Diamonds do more in Powers
- Don't spend Diamonds on skins while Powers are still missing — cosmetics can wait
- Don't hoard currencies waiting for a perfect moment — early levels are cheap and compound all week
- Don't leave the game untouched for days — offline earnings stop after 12 hours until your next run
Offline earnings pay out a share of your best run's pace and stop accruing after 12 hours away — starting a run resets that clock. Open the game once or twice a day and start a run each time, even a short one: the timer restarts and the run itself drops materials and equipment.
Looking ahead: your first Awakening requires 90% of all Workshop levels, so once it is in sight, buying the cheapest remaining levels raises that percentage fastest. After Awakening, equipment gradually takes over as your main source of power — that is week two's concern, not week one's.
